Every day find new ways to move your body. Use the stairs rather than an escalator or elevator. Walk your dog (or a neighbours' dog if you don't have one!) , chase your kids, play ball with friends, mow the lawn. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster. Think 'move' in small increments of time. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute cardiovascular class or body pump or kickboxing. Move more and feel better!
I dream of a walk in wardrobe, my own special place with a dressing table, nice lighting and my things all laid out, easy to see. But I doubt this will be a reality for a few years at least. Our salaries are above average, but we can't afford a 2 bedroom house just for the sake of my wardrobe dreams.
I don't know what the hell you'd wear these with, but hot damn, this is one exciting shoe!There are four unbelievable color combinations with the one pictured above looking like Rachel Ashwell might set it on a distressed nightstand, fill it with dirt, and plant a single gerbera daisy right dead center in the foot-hole.I love this shoe for the simple fact that someone was willing to go so far and push the envelope so violently off the edge of the table. Bravo.

Jeans - This is a great look.
Textured & Luxury Fabrics - boucle, velvet, etc.
Silks, satins & other shiny fabrics.
Tights & Hose - Opaque or sheer, but go for some sheen, and avoid busy designs.
Solid-colored wools - skirts, pants, suits.
NOT With:
Other tweed items.
Heavily patterned outfits or hosiery.
I am a girl who went happily about her life of leisure until one day she woke up with a painful, debilitating disease which affected her ability to wear normal shoes: plantar fasciitis. Ever since then, my life has been devoted to searching high and low to the PERFECT pair of shoes, which would allow me to walk in comfort without compromising on the sense of style to which she had been accustomed. My search, it has been an arduous one, and has required developing special skills and hiring a bunch of bearded astronomers to scope the galaxies in search for the Eternal Essence of the Perfect Shoe, the Ur-Shoe, if you will. The results, imperfect as they are, are often posted on this blog.
